Managing a large team of people delivering services to customers across the UK requires a strong focus and commitment to be a responsible business. Corporate Responsibility is our widest remit – responsibility to employees, customers, partners and the environment.

Environmental– ISO 14001

Our core Environmental philosophy is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

It is our policy to ensure that our employees have appropriate training in order to ensure that everyone understands the environmental aspects of their work and takes appropriate steps to controls his or her actions in a responsible manner. Our biggest impact upon the environment is our vehicle fleet and consequently we have a policy of sourcing the lowest emission vehicles that are fit for purpose. We have a strong recycling ethos and work closely with customers to use products with reusable or recyclable packaging and waste. As a microgeneration accredited company (MCS), we are actively installing solar photovoltaic systems in our own premises and also for consumers, businesses and other organisations and will continue to investigate new environmentally friendly technologies.

Health & Safety - OHSAS 18001

Health and Safety management is integral to our success

With a wide range of services, a comprehensive approach to training and supervision is instrumental in delivering safe systems of work. Every engineer receives a full Health & Safety induction course. CDM regulations underpin our safety culture throughout the company, irrespective of project type or size. Through our Training Academy, we are also able to offer bespoke training courses that combine technical and H&S elements for our employees and our customers.

Employees

Engaging our people is vital to achieving a safe and healthy workplace

Our responsibilities are twofold: Establish and deliver a robust structure to ensure the application of the highest environmental and health & safety standards in the industry. Ensure that each team always has the appropriate training, understanding, instruction and equipment to support and reinforce these standards. We aim to deliver these standards uniformly across the business, in particular the interfaces with customers, partners and other parties impacted by our teams when they are at work.

Customer, Partners and General Public

Today's member of the public is tomorrow's customer. Responsibility is a universal standard for everyone impacted by our work

With a well-developed Responsibility framework that is delivered competently in the field, we ensure that our work is executed in a responsible manner. This is a collaborative process, in conjunction with customers and partners. It is important that the greater the operational interface between us and our customers or partners, the more time is spent together, ensuring that we achieve these objectives effectively. For third parties this responsibility means that we are minimising direct or indirect impact on them. From safe systems of work to clean site policies, from carbon footprint reduction to communication, we are always seeking to minimise these impacts.
