Avonline holds
ISO 14001,
the internationally recognised Environmental standard,
accredited by BSI. Our registration covers all of our
services and for every one of our operating bases. Our core
Environmental philosophy is “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”.
Our biggest impact upon the environment is
our vehicle fleet. We have a policy of sourcing the lowest
emission vehicles that are fit for purpose. We also work
with our customers to deliver work programmes that minimise
driving miles for our teams.
We have a strong recycling ethos and
again, we work closely with our customers to use products
with reusable or recyclable packaging and waste.
It is our policy to ensure that all staff involved in the
company's operations have appropriate training so that each
person understands the environmental aspects of their work
and controls his or her responsibilities. It is the
responsibility of all Avonline employees to support and
apply those sections of the company environmental policy and
procedures which relate to their activities. They will be
trained to initiate corrective actions on environmental
matters, issues and concerns where and as appropriate.
